Class & Private Party Policies

Classes

Class Registration
Registration should be done as soon as you know you want to take the class. This allows the teaching staff time to prepare in advance with purchasing supplies and doing prep required for your class. Class registration will occur only after the class fee has been received. Please "Click Here" to purchase Gift Cards that can be used to register for a class.

Cancellation policy
Joyful Arts Studio will refund your deposit if we are responsible for the class cancellation. We will also refund your deposit if you cancel prior to two weeks in advance of the class. Otherwise class deposits are non-­refundable or transferable. 

Skill Levels
Most classes are geared towards beginners, it will be indicated in the class description if more experience is needed.

Supplies and Tools
Most classes will have all supplies and tools provided, it will be indicated in the class description if you need to  bring supplies. All artists will provide written class instructions. Art theory classes require the students to have their own brushes and supplies.

Children’s Classes
Parents or guardians will not be able to stay during the children’s classes due to space restrictions.

Private Parties

Private Party Policy
Joyful Arts Studio is happy to provide private parties at our location or the location of your choice. Project choices vary in time and costs. You could choose to create a piece of jewelry, paint a wine glass or tea cup or glassware of your choosing or paint a canvas. You are very welcome to bring your own wine, beverages and snacks. Joyful Arts Studio will provide cups, and paper products.

Private Party held at Joyful Arts Studio
Private parties held at Joyful Arts Studio requires a minimum of eight students. If eight or more students are registered, one free seat is given, usually taken by the hostess organizing the party. Only one free seat will be given no matter the size of the party.

Private Party held at Your Location
Private parties held at a location other than Joyful Arts Studio requires a minimum of twelve students. One free seat is given after the minimum of twelve students is met. The studio will bring all project supplies but cannot provide tables, chairs or lighting.

Joyful Arts Studio will refund your deposit if we are responsible for the class cancellation and if you cancel prior to two weeks in advance of the class. Otherwise class deposits are non­refundable.

Payment and Registration
Payment for private parties is required by each student one week prior to the date of the event. The hostess will provide Joyful Arts Studio with the student’s names, phone numbers and email addresses. The studio will invoice each student directly via email using a PayPal. Class fees can be paid through PayPal or paid via check by mail or at the studio.
