This was a fantastic sunrise I was privilege to watch unfold one morning on my way to work. I just loved the rays shooting to heaven and beyond. This painting was done on a piece of masa paper. The paper was crumbled first, in the patterns of my clouds and textures I saw in the sky. I then applied color to these crinkles and the paint bled into the crinkled lines. Once dried the masa paper was adhered to 140 pound cold press paper with matte medium. I then continued on with my water color painting. This is a 12×16 painting.
