Proverbs 10:25
When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.

The scripture says it all about this painting….the storm is moving on.

Job 36:33 His thunder announces the coming storm; even the cattle make known its approach.

I photographed this sky scene on a summer evening.  The sunset was reflecting with orange across the tops of the storm clouds.  I painted the top portion of the painting much too dark.  In an attempt to save the painting I immersed it in the sink filled with water and scrubbed it with a bristle brush to remove some of the dark.  The brush was stiffer than I realized and scratched the paper, leaving the appearance of driving rain.
