I was drawn to a photograph of an elephant by the striking contrast of the bright sunshine and dark shadows on this massive elephant. Painting Lucky was one of my greatest accomplishments as an artist. This painting is 22 x 30 inches and I painted it all wet into wet and I am still thrilled with my finished result!
