This is a 12 x 6 watercolor painting done on 140 pound cold press paper. I absolutely love the rich pink/orange color in a sunset…..this painting was an experiment with a good outcome. I used glazes of Opera to build this intense sunset scene from my yard. It allowed my lavender clouds to remain lavender and not turn gray.
