Feathered Friends

Hummingbirds are one of the most favorite birds.  I love the male Rufus hummingbird, his complimentary color scheme of red and green with a beautiful iridescence all over him.  I love walking outside in the summer and all of a sudden I have a buzzing noise fly right passed me!

I love to hear the Great Horned Owls calling to each other.  This painting originated from one of Denny Bingaman’s photographs.  I was very intrigued by the texture of the tree and the bird.  Then I saw the little one peeking out from above.
